On the International Literacy Day, a rally was held
in Muzaffargarh on Tuesday, led by District Education Officer of Literacy Tahira Rafique and Education Chief Exec
utive Officer Kausar Hussain Bukhari. The rally highlighted the importance of imparting education to out-of-school children. Ms Tahira said thousands of children had been enrolled in non-formal schools under the admission campaign 2020-2021. In addition, 60 adult education centers have been set up in the district. Also, 330 adult inmates in District Jail Muzaffargarh and 1,360 illiterate women have completed literacy classes.
