BALAKOT: At least four women of a family were killed and 12 others were injured when a jeep fell into a deep ravine at Sanghar village on Thursday.According to police sources, a family left for Sanghar village on a jeep to attend a marriage ceremony, when suddenly the driver, Naheed Shah, lost control of the vehicle and the jeep fell into deep ravine. As a result, four women died on the spot, while 12 others passengers were critically injured. The local people rushed on the spot and shifted the injured to the King Abdullah Hospital. app
Five killed, 22 injured in Muhammad Nagar road incident
MALKA HANS: Five people, including two women and a bus conductor died, while 22 others sustained injuries in a road accident near Muhammad Nagar on Thursday.
Sources said that a passenger bus was on its way from Vehari to Lahore, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, while trying to overtake another bus, and it fell into a ravine.
As a result, five passengers died on the spot, while 22 others were seriously injured. Rescue 1122 reached the scene and shifted the injured to a local hospital.
