ISLAMABAD: Peoples Party has declared the newly introduced NAB ordinance as “mother of all NROs”. This was said in a press conference held at PPP Media Office Islamabad by??Qamar Zaman Kaira, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Nazir Dhoki and others.Qamar Zaman Kaira said that when President Asif Ali Zardari has said that NAB and economy cannot go together, the PTI had said that PPP is asking for NRO.
This was said by the party’s Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira in a press conference on Sunday. Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed and Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar among other party leaders were also present on the occasion.
“Those who joined the PTI were washed of all their sins,” he said, accusing the government of filing case corruption cases against the PPP and the PML-N.
The PPP leader wondered who the prime minister was referring to in his speech on Saturday where he accused some people of objecting to the government’s reforms.
