LAHORE: An anti-vehicle lifting staff (AVLS) arrested two members of a car lifting gang and recovered 13 cars on Wednesday.
AVLS Model Town’s special team arrested Atif Javed – ringleader – and his accomplice – Ishtiaq – besides recovering the stolen cars and illegal weapons from their possession.
The accused committed crimes in Ghalib Market, Faisal Town, Iqbal Town, Mustafabad, Mughalpura, Shalimar, Ghulshan Iqbal and Gulberg Town.
Senior Superintend Police (SSP) Investigation Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera announced cash and commendatory certificates for the team.
